Best Cuttly Alternative in 2026 (Short Links, Bio Pages, and Deep Links)

Cuttly keeps deep links on its Team plan, caps bio pages at one page with five links on the cheaper tiers, and trims analytics history on the lower plans. Here is what each plan includes and where Linxly fits.

Cuttly (cutt.ly) is a link shortener with five plans, from a free tier up to $149 a month. It calls itself "the URL shortener that does more", and the feature list backs that up: branded domains, QR codes, bio pages, surveys, campaigns, an API. People start looking for an alternative for one of two reasons. Either the feature they need sits two or three tiers above the plan they wanted, or the cap on the plan they bought turns out to be lower than they expected.

This guide lists what each Cuttly plan includes, based on Cuttly's own pricing page. Then it covers the four things worth checking before you move anything, and what the same money buys on Linxly. In numbers: Linxly starts at $0.99 a month, and the Pro plan is $7.99.

What Cuttly includes, plan by plan

Cuttly does not cap tracked clicks on any plan. The caps are on how many links you create per month and on how deep the reporting goes.

Team Enterprise$149/mo or $1,639/yr50,00099Customizable20 pages, 99 links2 years

The line that surprises people is Starter at $12. It multiplies your monthly link allowance by ten, from 30 to 300, and changes almost nothing else. Same single QR style, same one bio page with five links, same 30 days of analytics history. If you upgraded from Free expecting the reporting to open up, it does not.

For comparison, URL shortener plans on Linxly start at $0.99 a month, and the analytics breakdown is the same on every paid plan rather than tied to the tier.

Where the price jumps

Single at $25 a month is where most of the features unlock. It brings 5,000 links a month, five branded domains, customizable QR codes, a year of analytics history, link expiration by date or click count, mobile redirects, A/B rotation at a fixed 50/50 split, a retargeting pixel, and bulk CSV shortening capped at 100 links a month.

Team at $99 a month adds the rest: 20,000 links, team seats (3 teams, 5 members), campaign tag analytics, two years of history, bulk CSV at 2,000 links a month, custom A/B percentages, and deep links.

Rate limits on the API follow the same ladder: 3 calls per 60 seconds on Free, 6 on Starter, 60 on Single, 180 on Team, 360 on Team Enterprise.

Cuttly lists mobile redirects and deep links as two separate rows. Mobile redirects unlock on Single at $25 a month. Deep links do not appear until Team at $99 a month.

That matters if you promote an app. Sending an iPhone user to the App Store and an Android user to Google Play from a single link is the most common mobile routing job there is, and it is not a job that scales with team size. A solo developer with one app needs it exactly as much as a company with five marketers.

On Linxly, deep links route by device to the App Store, Google Play, Huawei AppGallery, or your website, with no SDK and no mobile developer involved. You set the destinations in the dashboard and share one link.

The bio page cap

On Free and Starter you get one bio page holding up to five links. Single at $25 raises that to three pages and 20 links.

Five links is below what a working profile needs. A store, the latest video, a booking form, a newsletter signup and two social profiles already exceeds it. And if you run more than one account, one page means one profile is served and the rest are not.

A Linxly link in bio page holds product cards, embedded video, maps and text blocks, with theming, and it lives in the same dashboard as your short links, so the reporting sits in one place.

Four things to check before you switch

The analytics window on the cheap tiers. Free and Starter keep 30 days. A campaign that ran in March cannot be reviewed in May. A full year starts at $25 a month.

The monthly link allowance, not the click count. Clicks are unlimited; link creation is capped at 30 a month on Free and 300 on Starter. One product launch with UTM variants can eat 300.

QR customization. Free and Starter ship one fixed QR style. Colors and a logo start on Single at $25 a month, which is worth knowing before a print run.

Bulk CSV limits. Bulk shortening is not just gated by plan, it is metered: 100 links a month on Single, 2,000 on Team. Check that against how you actually work.

warning

Before you migrate anything, export your click data. Short links can be recreated in an afternoon. Thirty days of analytics history cannot, and no tool imports another tool's reports.

Linxly as a Cuttly alternative: what you get

Compared at the tiers bought in practice, Linxly Pro is $7.99 a month against Cuttly Single at $25. In Linxly Pro:

  • Branded short links with a slug you choose, in linx.ly/spring-sale format
  • A QR code generated automatically for every link, with your colors and logo on paid plans
  • Bio pages with product cards, video, maps and theming, inside the same dashboard as the links
  • Device-based deep links to the App Store, Google Play, Huawei AppGallery or your site, without an SDK
  • Meta tag editing, so the title, description and preview image are yours when the link gets pasted into a chat
  • Time-based redirects, password protection and link expiration
  • Analytics by country, city, device type, device brand, operating system, browser and referrer, with QR scans reported separately from clicks

Entry is $0.99 a month on Starter, and every plan opens with a 7-day trial that unlocks the full feature set.

The QR side deserves a separate note. Every link gets its own code at the moment of creation, so print and screen point at the same short link and report into the same numbers. There is no separate QR tool and no second account.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, but only on the Team plan at $99 a month. Mobile redirects, which are listed as a separate feature, unlock earlier on Single at $25.

What does Cuttly's free plan include?

30 new short links a month, unlimited tracked clicks, one branded domain, one QR style, one bio page with up to five links, an API limited to 3 calls per 60 seconds, and 30 days of analytics history.

Why is Cuttly Single so much more expensive than Starter?

Starter at $12 mainly raises the monthly link allowance from 30 to 300. Single at $25 is where customizable QR codes, a year of analytics history, mobile redirects, link expiration, the retargeting pixel and bulk CSV arrive.

You recreate them. There is no bulk import on Linxly, so the practical approach is to rebuild your active links with the same slugs, then update destination URLs as campaigns change. Export your Cuttly analytics first, because history does not transfer between tools.

Is Linxly cheaper than Cuttly?

At the working tiers, yes. Linxly Pro is $7.99 a month against Cuttly Single at $25, and device-based deep linking is included rather than sitting on a $99 plan. Entry is $0.99 a month on Starter.

Do you allow gambling or illegal redirects?

No. Linxly blocks this kind of content automatically through filters, and anything that gets past automation goes through manual review or abuse reporting. The account is suspended. This policy is part of why Linxly stays reachable in markets where other shorteners get blocked, including Turkey, where a court blocked Cuttly, T2M and Bitly on May 5, 2026 on illegal gambling grounds.

The short version

Cuttly does not cap tracked clicks, but the rest of the ladder is tight: 30 days of history and one five-link bio page below $25, and deep links only from $99.

If you need a bio page that holds a real profile, short links for every other channel, QR codes carrying your branding, and app routing by device without a team plan, that is a cheaper problem to solve.
