Linkly (linklyhq.com) is a link tracking tool with a free tier and four paid plans running from $15 to $999 a month. The analytics are detailed, the integration list is long, and team members are unlimited on every plan including the free one, which almost nobody else does. People still start looking around for one of two reasons. Either the monthly click allowance runs out sooner than they planned for, or the feature they signed up for turns out to be two tiers above the plan they wanted.
This guide goes plan by plan through Linkly's own pricing page, checked in September 2026. Then it covers what to check before you move anything, and what the same money buys on Linxly. In numbers: Linxly starts at $0.99 a month, and the Pro plan is $7.99.
What Linkly includes, plan by plan
Linkly meters two separate things: how many new links you create in a month, and how many clicks it records for you.
| Plan | Price | Links / month | Clicks / month | Custom domains | QR codes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 100 | 500 | 1 | Watermarked |
| Starter | $15/mo, annual only | 250 | 2,000 | 1 | Custom |
| Pro | $39/mo or $32/mo billed annually | 1,000 | 10,000 | 3 | Custom |
| Business | $129/mo or $107/mo billed annually | 5,000 | 50,000 | 10 | Custom |
| Unlimited | $999/mo or $833/mo billed annually | Unlimited | Unlimited | 100 | Custom |
The free plan is where most people meet Linkly, and 500 clicks is the number worth reading twice. Linkly's pricing FAQ says that on the free plan, links pause until the next billing period once the click quota is spent. They do not slow down or lose their tracking. They stop redirecting. One post that travels further than you expected takes the link down with it.
Starter carries a second condition. It is sold annually only, so $15 a month means $180 committed upfront, and Linkly's FAQ confirms you cannot switch it to monthly billing the way you can on Pro and above.
For comparison, URL shortener plans on Linxly start at $0.99 a month, and the analytics breakdown is the same on every paid plan instead of opening up tier by tier.
Where the price jumps
Pro at $39 a month is where the campaign tooling arrives: ISP tracking, geo and device redirect rules, link rotators for A/B splits, click-limited and time-limited links, password protection, and tracking pixels for Meta, Google, GTM and TikTok. Bulk CSV import sits on the same step.
Business at $129 a month adds hourly analytics with timezone adjustment, public analytics pages you can hand to a client, link cloaking, auto-linkify with content replacements, and custom tracking scripts.
There is also an overage mechanic worth understanding before it happens. On paid plans, going past your quota automatically buys an add-on pack: $25 a month for 25,000 extra clicks, $25 for another 1,000 links, $1 for an extra domain. That keeps your links alive mid-campaign, which is the right call. It also means the invoice can grow without anyone approving anything, so it belongs on your monthly check.
Device routing sits on the Pro plan
Linkly does device routing properly. One link splits iPhone traffic to the App Store and Android traffic to Google Play, and a separate Open in App rule pushes clicks into the native YouTube, Spotify, TikTok or Amazon app instead of the mobile browser. Both features are real and both are well documented.
Both also live on Pro at $39 a month, where the pricing table lists them as geo and device redirect rules. Starter at $15 does not include them.
That is the placement most people argue with, because routing by device is not an advanced growth technique. A solo developer with one app in two stores needs it on the first day, and needs it exactly as much as a company with a media budget. Podcast hosts hit the same wall sending listeners to Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
On Linxly, deep links route by device to the App Store, Google Play, Huawei AppGallery or your website, with no SDK and no mobile developer involved. You set the destinations in the dashboard and share one link.
The bio page is not on the list
There is no link in bio page on Linkly. Not on Free, not on Unlimited. The features page does not list one, and the full plan comparison table does not have a row for it.
Linkly does advertise one link for your bio, and that phrase means something narrower than it reads. It is a single short link that routes by country or device, or rotates between destinations. For an app install campaign, that is genuinely all you need. For a profile that has to carry a store, the latest video, a booking form, a newsletter signup and two other social accounts, one destination is not a page.
A Linxly link in bio page holds product cards, embedded video, maps and text blocks with theming, and it lives in the same dashboard as your short links, so the reporting stays in one place.
Four things to check before you switch
The click ceiling, not the link count. Free stops at 500 recorded clicks a month and Starter at 2,000. A modest email list can produce 2,000 clicks in a single send, and on Starter that is the whole month.
Starter is billed annually. The $15 figure is a yearly commitment of $180, not a month you can try and drop.
QR codes are watermarked on the free plan. Custom codes with your logo start on Starter. Check that before anything goes to a printer.
Where the add-on charges land. Overages buy packs automatically on paid plans at $25 per pack. That is good for uptime and easy to miss on an invoice.
Before you migrate anything, export your click data. Linkly keeps analytics for two years, which is longer than most tools give you, and none of it transfers. Short links can be rebuilt in an afternoon. Two years of history cannot.
Linxly as a Linkly alternative: what you get
Compared at the tiers people actually buy, Linxly Pro is $7.99 a month against Linkly Pro at $39. In Linxly Pro:
- Branded short links with a slug you choose, in
linx.ly/spring-saleformat - A QR code generated automatically for every link, with your colors and logo on paid plans
- Bio pages with product cards, video, maps and theming, inside the same dashboard as the links
- Device-based deep links to the App Store, Google Play, Huawei AppGallery or your site, without an SDK
- Meta tag editing, so the title, description and preview image are yours when the link gets pasted into a chat
- Time-based redirects, password protection and link expiration
- Analytics by country, city, device type, device brand, operating system, browser and referrer, with QR scans reported separately from clicks
Entry is $0.99 a month on Starter, and every plan opens with a 7-day trial that unlocks the full feature set. The row-by-row version is on the Linkly vs Linxly page.
The QR side deserves a note of its own. Every link gets its own code at the moment you create it, with no watermark on any paid plan, so print and screen point at the same short link and report into the same numbers.

Get startedFrequently asked questions
Does Linkly have a link in bio page?
No. Neither the features page nor the full pricing comparison lists one at any tier. What Linkly calls a bio link is a single short link that routes by country or device, or rotates between destinations.
What does Linkly's free plan include?
100 new links and 500 recorded clicks a month, one custom domain, country-level click analytics, full API access, and watermarked QR codes. Once the click quota is spent, Linkly pauses the links until the next billing period.
Why is Linkly Pro so much more expensive than Starter?
Starter at $15 covers device, browser and OS analytics, the UTM builder, link preview customization, bot filtering and custom QR codes. Pro at $39 is where geo and device redirect rules, link rotators, password protection, click and time limits, tracking pixels and bulk CSV import unlock.
Does Linkly do app deep links?
Yes, on Pro at $39 a month. Device redirect rules split iOS and Android traffic to the right store, and Open in App sends clicks into the native app when someone has it installed. Linxly does the device routing without an SDK and adds Huawei AppGallery plus a desktop fallback, so one link covers every case.
Can I move my Linkly links to Linxly?
You recreate them. There is no bulk import on Linxly, so the practical approach is to rebuild your active links with the same slugs, then update destination URLs as campaigns change. Export your Linkly analytics first, because history does not transfer between tools.
Is Linxly cheaper than Linkly?
At the working tiers, yes. Linxly Pro is $7.99 a month against Linkly Pro at $39, and device-based deep linking, password protection and link expiration are included rather than gated to that tier. Entry is $0.99 a month on Starter, with a 7-day trial first.
Do you allow gambling or illegal redirects?
No. Linxly blocks this kind of content automatically through filters, and anything that gets past automation goes through manual review or abuse reporting. The account is suspended. This policy is part of why Linxly stays reachable in markets where other shorteners get blocked, including Turkey, where a court blocked Bitly, T2M and Cuttly on May 5, 2026 on illegal gambling grounds.
The short version
Linkly is a strong tracker with unusually generous team seats and two years of analytics history. The friction is in the metering and the placement: 500 clicks on the free plan before links stop, an annual-only Starter, and device routing held back to a $39 plan.
If you need a bio page that carries a real profile, short links for every other channel, QR codes with your branding, and app routing by device without buying a marketing tier, that is a cheaper problem to solve.
